    Five-week term, 2.5 hours for each class in 5 consecutive weeks. We glaze your pieces with our clear gloss glaze. All materials to create fantastic dinnerware (stoneware clay, white studio glaze, firings, studio tools) We provide 5 kg of clay, you can purchase more in the studio. We can provide different colours of glazes with a +$10.
  • Cancellation Policy
    It is important to choose a time that suits your schedule during the 5 weeks; you must be able to make it all the days of our course. We do not offer swapping of days or make-up sessions if you cannot attend a date. If one class term is on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled for next week.     Four-week term, 2.5 hours for each class in consecutive weeks. We glaze your pieces with our white studio glaze. All materials to create your Venus Vase (stoneware clay, white studio glaze, firing, studio tools, aprons) A maximum of 5kg of clay per student is included in the workshop. Additional clay can be purchased through the studio.

  • What is included?
    2.0 hours class. A nice pack x8+ ornaments. The studio provides aprons. We glaze your pieces with our white studio glaze, or if there's enough time, students can glaze with underglaze their pieces in the 2.00 class. All materials to create your favourite tree ornaments (stoneware clay, glaze, underglazes and all the firings) It's a seasonal event! You must hurry to pick your pieces when they are ready if you want to see them in your tree for Christmas 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
  • Refund Policy
    Due to our unique studio environment, we do not issue refunds for changes of mind. However, we understand that life happens! Refunds may be granted for the following circumstances with evidence: Injury or accidents Jury duty Pregnancy complications Death of an immediate family member Severe weather conditions Mechanical breakdown If you encounter a situation not listed, please reach out to us.
  • Rescheduling
    One-Day Classes: You can reschedule your class free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. If less than 48 hours, a 25% rebooking fee applies. Term Classes: Unfortunately, we do not offer make-up classes. Attendance is required for all sessions.
  • What to Bring?
    We provide aprons, but we recommend wearing old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Please leave jewellery at home—we're not responsible for lost valuables.
  • Parking

  • Public Holidays
    If your class falls on a public holiday, we’ll reschedule for the following week. You’ll receive an email with the details.
  • Firing and Piece Pickup
    Our firing process typically takes 3-5 weeks. We’ll keep you updated on the progress. Please pick up your pieces within two months of notification, as our studio is small, and we need to stay organised!
  • Lost Finding the Studio?
    We send detailed directions via email, including a Google Maps link. If you're still having trouble, feel free to call us at +61 0404377188 or send us an email. Please note that we cannot refund unattended classes.
  • Crack or broken pieces
    While we strive for perfection, pottery can be unpredictable. Nuna Terra isn’t responsible for pieces that crack or break during firing. It’s part of the art!
  • How many pieces can I make in my class or term?
    Each class includes specific amounts of clay—check our class pages for details. We provide studio-tested glazes and cannot accept external materials to ensure safety.
  • Accessibility
    Currently, our studio lacks full disabled facilities, but we are working towards a larger, more accessible location in the future.
  • Bringing Guests
    Our studio accommodates six students, and we cannot allow extra guests. Please contact us to discuss any special circumstances.
  • External Firing
    At this time, we do not offer external firing services; all pieces are fired in a local studio.
  • Knowledge Required?
    No prior experience is necessary! Our classes are designed for everyone—beginners, hobbyists, and experienced artists alike.
  • Pets
    We adore animals, but we cannot accommodate pets in the studio due to potential disturbances to our neighbours.

Discover the world of pottery with our make-a-mug workshop. It's a fun and creative introductory class where you'll make a mug learning pottery techniques.

It's designed for people with no previous experience with ceramics and is perfect for learning a new skill and having fun. 

​

The class lasts 2 hours, and the cost includes clay, firing and glazing. All pieces will be glazed with our Clear gloss glaze studio glaze, if you want a different colour, we charge +$10. They will be ready within 4-6 weeks. Our pieces are food-safe and dishwasher & microwave-safe.

 

We provide aprons, but please bring comfortable clothes or clothes that you don’t care if they get muddy.

When the pieces are ready, you will receive a text message or email so you can pick them up.
